It depends on the breed, coat type, activity level, your desired workload for coat care maintenance between haircuts, etc.
Generally speaking, a Face, Feet, Fanny Trim with a Pawdicure is recommended every 4-6 weeks for medium to large dogs and every 4ish weeks for smaller breeds, so vision, grip, and cleanliness can be constantly 100%.
A Full-body trim is suggested every 6-8 weeks between March and October to keep the temperature manageable with the Texan heat. If you like the longer coat, between November and February is the perfect time to let it grow out.

YES. :) Patriot Animal Hospital, here in Georgetown. They are independently owned. I take my pets to them since they opened and they are THE BEST. They can handle low and high energy level dogs, they are very informative, so you can make an informed decision. They are not pushy about procedures at all. The staff is just the kindest. Their clinic is always spotless, smells great, and spacious so you can move around without feeling crammed up against dogs or people. I feel comfortable leaving my tiny pups in their care and that's a huge thing because since 2013, I've visited over a dozen clinics nearby and none of them measure up to PAH! When we had to euthanize our senior cat, Pupak, at PAH, they offered options and supported us taking him home. They did a fantastic job on my Dinka's severely impacted anal glands. I'm beyond relieved that I gave them a chance, and I highly recommend their clinic. https://patriotah.com/
